Editors are responsible for maintaining the quality, integrity, and credibility of the journal publication process. Their responsibilities include:

  1. Selecting manuscripts that are suitable to proceed to the review and publication process based on research significance, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s focus and scope.
  2. Managing the review process fairly, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
  3. Evaluating manuscripts solely on academic and intellectual merit without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or political beliefs.
  4. Ensuring the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and not disclosing manuscript information to anyone other than reviewers, editorial board members, and publishers involved in the publication process.
  5. Protecting all unpublished materials and information contained in submitted manuscripts from unauthorized use or disclosure.
  6. Avoiding the use of unpublished materials from submitted manuscripts for personal research or personal advantage.

Reviewers

Reviewers play an essential role in supporting the quality and integrity of scholarly publications. Their responsibilities include:

  1. Reviewing manuscripts objectively and only within their area of expertise.
  2. Conducting reviews fairly, constructively, and within the agreed review timeline.
  3. Providing clear, objective, and constructive feedback without personal criticism toward the authors.
  4. Evaluating manuscripts without influence from the author’s nationality, religion, gender, political perspective, or commercial interests.
  5. Maintaining the confidentiality of all manuscripts received for review and not sharing them with others without editorial permission.
  6. Not using information obtained during the review process for personal benefit or any unauthorized purpose.
  7. Assessing the adequacy, relevance, and accuracy of references used in the manuscript.
  8. Informing the editor about potential ethical concerns, conflicts of interest, or substantial similarities between the reviewed manuscript and other published works.

Authors

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality, validity, and ethical integrity of their scholarly work. Their responsibilities include:

  1. Presenting research findings honestly, ethically, and scientifically.
  2. Reporting data accurately without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate manipulation.
  3. Providing corrections or clarifications to the editor when necessary regarding submitted manuscripts.
  4. Ensuring that all submitted works are free from plagiarism and properly cite all sources using appropriate referencing methods.
  5. Describing research methods clearly and transparently so the study can be verified or replicated by others.
  6. Taking collective responsibility for the content of submitted and published manuscripts.
  7. Properly acknowledging the contributions of all authors and contributors involved in the research and publication process.
  8. Promptly notifying the editor if significant errors or inaccuracies are discovered in published work and cooperating in the correction or retraction process when necessary.
