Editors have the following responsibilities:

  1. Decide which manuscripts proceed to the next stage and are ultimately accepted for publication, based on research urgency, originality, clarity, and suitability with the journal’s focus and scope.
  2. Ensure that the manuscript review process is conducted fairly, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
  3. Evaluate manuscripts based on intellectual content without discrimination regarding the author’s race, gender, religious belief, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy.
  4. Maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and ensure that their contents are not disclosed to anyone except reviewers and editorial staff involved in the review process until a final decision is made.
  5. Ensure that no information from submitted manuscripts is disclosed to unauthorized parties, including individuals not involved in the editorial or review process.
  6. Do not use unpublished materials from submitted manuscripts in their own research without the explicit permission of the author, and ensure that editors do not appear as authors of manuscripts they handle.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers have the following responsibilities:

  1. Review manuscripts that are relevant to the journal’s focus and scope in a timely manner.
  2. Recognize peer review as a professional responsibility and conduct reviews fairly, objectively, and promptly.
  3. Provide constructive feedback and avoid hostile, offensive, or personal comments.
  4. Ensure that reviews are not influenced by the author’s nationality, religion, political beliefs, gender, or other personal characteristics, nor by commercial interests.
  5. Treat all manuscripts as confidential documents and do not share or discuss them with others except with permission from the editor.
  6. Do not use any information obtained during the peer review process for personal or professional advantage.
  7. Evaluate manuscripts based on scientific validity and the appropriateness of references used, ensuring that citations are relevant and properly applied.
  8. Declare any conflicts of interest and inform the editor if there are concerns regarding the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s scope, seeking guidance when necessary.

Author Responsibilities

Authors have the following responsibilities:

  1. Submit research that has been conducted ethically, scientifically, and responsibly.
  2. Present research findings clearly, honestly, and without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate data manipulation.
  3. Provide corrections or additional data when requested during the editorial review process.
  4. Avoid plagiarism in any form by ensuring proper citation and adherence to ethical referencing practices.
  5. Describe research methods in sufficient detail to allow replication and verification by others.
  6. Accept collective responsibility for the submitted and published work.
  7. Clearly disclose contributions of all authors involved in the research and publication process.
  8. Immediately notify the editor or publisher if any significant errors or inaccuracies are identified in published work, and cooperate in issuing corrections or retractions when necessary.
